Odette Deray was a painter of figures and persons traveling. She was a graduate of the Ecole de Beaux Arts de Dijon et Paris and has shown in the galleries of Paris, Portugal, and the United States.
She is listed in the Benezit and Davenport’s and her work was first auctioned in Paris on January 27, 1989, FRF 5000.
Her entire personal collection, including oils of her Paris Metro series [her best-known work], as well as etchings, pencil studies, and notebooks were acquired by T. Botero Galleries in May 2007.
